Mean mugging.
The Evil Eye.
The Big Stink.
The Silent Treatment.
They’re all forms of emotional violence that
hurt you and the ones you love.

A Seminar for Women
Understanding Men’s Violence
Men’s violence in an intimate relationship can take many forms. This seminar will discuss the many aspects of male violence: emotional, verbal, physical, and sexual. We will explain our program’s approach to stopping this behavior and how to create intimacy.
It is our hope that we can create a forum process where women, who are in abusive relationships, will gain an understanding of their partner’s process and how his decisions to be violent impact the entire family. We hope the participants will share their experiences in a supportive way.
Topics:
- Defining Violence
- Setting Boundaries
- Impact
- Male Role Belief System (M.R.B.S.)
- Creating Intimacy; listen and disclose
- Communication Skills from My Heart
